Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean

NATMEd PRIMA Project Showcased at the XX International Botanical Congress (IBC2024) in Madrid

Our partner CARTIF participated in the XX International Botanical Congress (IBC2024), held in Madrid from July 21st to 27th, 2024.

Organized every six years under the supervision of the International Association for Botanical and Mycological Societies (IABMS), the IBC has evolved into a leading global platform for advancing knowledge in botany and mycology.

At the congress, Raquel Marijuan and Barbara Diez Rodriguez from CARTIF presented the Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) implemented in Case Study 1 – Carrión de los Céspedes, as part of the NATMEd PRIMA Project. Their presentation showcased how these solutions contribute to sustainable water management while supporting biodiversity conservation and ecosystem resilience.

🌱 Events like IBC2024 provide a crucial platform to exchange knowledge and explore innovative approaches for a more sustainable future.
