Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean

NATMEd PRIMA Project Featured at the World Groundwater Congress in Davos

A great moment for NATMed at the World Groundwater Congress in Davos!

Alberto Carletti, representing the research team from UNICA and UNISS, presented the Forested Infiltration Area system, an innovative Nature-Based Solution (NbS) developed within the NATMEd PRIMA Project.

This solution is actively addressing nitrate contamination in Arborea’s Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (Sardinia, Italy) while simultaneously enhancing water resilience through aquifer recharge.

Stay tuned for more updates from NATMEd PRIMA Project as we continue working towards resilient water systems!
