Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean

2nd MedCoP co-design session, Arborea, Sardinia, 5 April 2024 – Case study 3

The 2nd co-design session of NATMED “Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean” was held on April 5th, 2024 at Hotel Le Torri, in Arborea (OR), Sardinia. 

The meeting was organized in synergy with the Department of Agriculture and Agro-Pastoral Reform of the Sardinia Region, OURMed (PRIMA Programme) and SARNITRO (Sardinia Region) projects. 

The main objective of the session was the establishment of a working group aimed at harmonizing interventions in the Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (ZVN) of Arborea, by identifying new sustainable integrative actions, able to comply with the obligations imposed by Directive 91/676/EEC “Nitrates”.
