Nature-Based Solutions on Existing Infrastructures for Resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean

The NATMed consortium is pleased to invite poster contributions for the Poster Session of the NATMed Final Conference, taking place on 12 March 2026 in Istanbul.

The Poster Session will provide a dedicated space for networking, knowledge exchange and showcasing innovative work related to sustainable water management and Nature-based Solutions (NbS). It will bring together researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, municipalities, NGOs, students and innovators working across the Mediterranean and beyond.

About the Conference

The NATMed Final Conference will present the project’s key results and lessons learned, along with insights from the PRIMA Programme. The agenda will feature:

  • Project flash talks
  • A high-level policy roundtable on scaling Nature-based Solutions
  • A participatory World Café on mainstreaming NbS in the Mediterranean

The event aims to foster dialogue on how NbS can be effectively integrated into existing infrastructures to strengthen water resilience in the Mediterranean region.

Who Can Apply?

We warmly encourage submissions from:

  • Researchers and academics
  • PhD candidates and Master’s students

  • Municipalities and public authorities

Posters may present EU or national research projects, dissertations, pilot implementations, case studies, Living Labs, co-creation processes, business models or digital solutions related to:

  • NbS and Full-Water Cycle NbS
  • Water management
  • Water scarcity, drought and flood resilience
  • Green–grey and blue–green infrastructure
  • Ecosystem-based adaptation
  • Groundwater recharge and aquifer management
  • Circular water systems and water reuse
  • Ecosystem services provision and biodiversity enhancement
  • Co-creation processes and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitoring and evaluation of NbS
  • Scaling and mainstreaming NbS in the Mediterranean
