Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean

1st MedCoP meeting, Carrión de los Céspedes, Spain, 24 October 2023 – Case study 1

Our partners AMAYA and Social Climate – Social innovation for climate action organised the 1st MedCoP meeting in Carrión de los Céspedes, Spain, on 24th of October 2023.

The  MedCoP meeting included local stakeholders which were introduced to NATMed‘s objectives and work plan and were shown the facilities of the experimental wastewater treatment center.

Moreover, the 1st co-design session was completed and valuable information for the improvement of the actions to be carried out in the framework of the project were collected.

Challenges and solutions were identified as well as traditional practices of interest to enhance social impact through the implementation of NbS. The local perception in relation to solutions design was integrated to respond to specific local challenges.
